Career woman Charlene, 35, is struggling to comes to terms with the fact she is about to become a mum, after dedicating her life to climbing the career ladder. Her mother Marion and Aunt Bev use Liverpudlian humour to help her through the final stages of labour. Cameras also follow Jess, 21, who fell pregnant after a fling and only truly believed the news when she saw her first scan. Plus, Sam, 41, who swore she would never have another child after the traumatic birth of her first, is convinced her late mother is in the labour room with her.
