Doc Caro – Leben hautnah

Emergency doctor Carola Holzner, who became famous as Doc Caro, is getting her second VOX format with “Doc Caro - Leben hautnah”. In this documentary series, Doc Caro immerses herself in the work and life of highly specialized medical facilities. Among other things, she moves into a women's addiction clinic for a few days and accompanies doctors in their therapy work. How do these institutions deal with sick people who have no other way out? What hopes do they have, how are the medical staff there and what are the social circumstances from which the patients come?
