Hijiri has always dreamed of becoming a teacher, and she has just started teaching a 9th grade class at Koboshi Junior High School. She is engaged to Shotaro, an elite trading company employee working in Osaka, who she has been dating since university. Although their relationship is long-distance, nothing could come in between them... at least that's what she thought until she met Akira.
Akira is still fourteen years old, but there is something mysterious and charming about him. Hijiri knows that as a teacher, she cannot be attracted to her student, but his love for her is so pure and straight, that she finds herself slowly becoming infatuated by him.

Je suis stupéfaite que ce drama soit entré dans le catalogue Netflix. J’en profite pour le revoir avec des sous-titres pro : encore meilleur que dans mes souvenirs… 🥲. Machida Keita est une perle d’acteur…
I cried every time they interacted, the purity and sincerity of their love got me overwhelmed and I couldn’t stop dropping tears. The Drama was very simple yet so emotional (I was utterly disarmed). I’m glad that this series was my first Teacher-Student Romance because of its realistic story and ending (compared to Love and Fortune, which I’m recently watching). The teacher was fully aware of the situation and the fact that he is/was minor. She was so fond of him but still didn’t cross the line.
Un drama d'une sensibilité rare qui nous fait glisser dans le carcan des règles familiales et sociales japonaises. On en ressort essoré.
