After a brief fight with Cheetu, Morel and Knuckle return to check on Gon and Killua as they finally reunite with Kite, but upon seeing that he was turned into a mindless rogue by Neferpitou, Gon swears to avenge him. The Hunters then travel to East Gorteau, where the government summons all the population to meet at the capital for an undisclosed event in ten days.
