14 months after going to prison on federal weapons charges Jax, Clay and the other SAMCRO members are released and return to Charming where they encounter new enemies in the form of a no nonsense sheriff and an Assistant U.S. Attorney out to nail the club for their dealings with Russian gunrunner Putlova. For those who love a good crime drama, Mayans M.C., created by Kurt Sutter and Elgin James, is an absolute must-watch. This American television series, set in the same fictional universe as 'Sons of Anarchy', offers a thrilling journey into the world of biker gangs, focusing on the Mayan Motorcycle Club who were once rivals but later allies of Sons.
The show takes place in Santo Padre, a fictitious California border town, two-and-a-half years after the events of the 'Sons of Anarchy'. At its heart is Ezekiel 'EZ' Reyes (J.D Pardo), a gifted son from a proud Latino family whose American dream was crushed under cartel violence. Driven by revenge, EZ finds himself entangled in a life he never wished for but cannot escape from.
Joining J.D Pardo in this intense narrative are Clayton Cardenas as Angel Reyes, Edward James Olmos as Felipe Reyes, Sarah Bolger as Emily Thomas and Michael Irby as Obispo 'Bishop' Losa among others. Each actor has brought to life their character superbly adding depth to their personality and making them all more relatable to viewers.
