Episode 1

Copenhagen 1949. When the young, idealistic journalist Bjarne Madsen gets a tip about organized crime and black market trading on a grand scale, he decides to unravel the threads in the extensive web and find the spider himself. The highly respected crime reporter HC Vissing tries to stop him, but Bjarne is fearless – even when there are indications that there is a connection from the Copenhagen underworld to far up in the police leadership.
