Empty Nesters Seek to Downsize While Staying in the Neighborhood They Love

Now that their four daughters have left the nest, John and Denise Pulley find themselves in a five-bedroom home in Huntington Beach, California. They're keen to stay in the area they've called home for twenty years, especially since they love their weekend bike rides by the beach and walks with their puppies at a local park. Along with realtor Marcia Kaufman, they're looking at smaller properties in the area, whether turnkeys or fixer-uppers. They love the rewarding feeling of personalizing a home and making it their own ? but they equally love the idea of kicking back and relaxing at the end of the day. Hopefully, the Pulleys will soon find another happy Huntington Beach home.
