Jake V Kiel, Lindsey V Chelsie

Jake is in court to claim £1,000 for the amount he had saved for a holiday which his brother spent on a bet. Defendant Kiel says he has already repaid some of the loan and that Jake owes him money and is counterclaiming £86.32 for an outstanding debt.

Lindsey is in court to claim £500 for damage to her car after her daughter crashed it into a wall. Defendant Chelsie says as she is a learner driver she is not responsible for the accident and that as the car was insured she owes nothing.
