Paul Arkan, a well-known painter in the services, was arrested because he was having a seizure in a subway train. At the I3P, Professor Mathias Bernardt gives him a pad and pencils as an interrogation. The artist, who suffers from bipolarity, draws the pattern of a shoelace, which would have been used for an execution in front of the Pantheon. Unable to resist his curiosity, Bernardt went in search of clues on the spot and found a piece of cloth at the foot of the entrance gate of the monument. Meanwhile, her colleague Sophie follows the trail of a convent whose underground passages are connected to the Pantheon, and where the nuns seem to want to avoid being talked about.
