A teenager in a state of hypothermia is hit by a rifle shot in a forest a few kilometers from Paris. He falls into a coma. Léo Mattéï and the BPM discover that he is a violent and disturbed kid. He had been placed by his parents in a reinforced education center (CER) and was participating in a forest outing organized by the center's main educator, Manu Destrier, a strong man who maintains order, but seems to push discipline a little too far. Mattéï and his team discover that the wounded teenager was trafficking within the center and may have had enemies.
