Rick and Morty

36K members 7 seasons78 episodes

Rick Sanchez is a very gifted scientist. He can invent anything and save the world, even the universe, many times. He is the father of Beth who is married to Jerry, a loser. They have two children, Summer, a teenager, and Morty, a 14-year-old pubescent fan of his grandfather. Rick and Morty cross dimensions, space and visit many planets following Rick's whims. Vulgar and extremely cynical, Rick is disillusioned during all his adventures. If Morty is constantly in danger, Rick always has the solution to get out of it, even if he has to jeopardize the stability of the universe.
From endangered planets, alien invasions, failed experiments, and travel between parallel dimensions, Rick and Morty have adventures that their family accepts with ease. They are no longer surprised when clones or robots show up during lunch.
The relationship between Rick and Morty goes beyond the simple grandfather/grandson relationship, there is respect, but also a lot of empathy between the grandfather, a solitary genius, and the insecure teenager.

Archer (2009): A Must-Watch Blend of Comedy, Action and Adventure

If you're looking for a TV series that perfectly blends humor, action and adventure with an animated twist, look no further than Archer. Originally aired in 2009, this American TV series has garnered a huge fan base over its impressive run of 14 seasons and 145 episodes.

Set at the International Secret Intelligence Service (ISIS), a fictional New York-based intelligence agency, Archer revolves around eight dysfunctional secret agents trying to solve global crises while simultaneously sabotaging each other. The team includes narcissistic Sterling Archer; his emotionally distant mother and ISIS director Malory Archer; professional Lana Kane who also happens to be Sterling’s ex; openly gay bomb specialist Ray Gillette; HR head Pam Poovey; mild-mannered accountant-turned-agent Cyril Figgis; psychotic personal assistant Cheryl Tunt; and bizarre scientist Dr Algernop Krieger.

The voice actors behind these characters are exceptional talents who have lent their voices to many renowned TV shows. H. Jon Benjamin is the voice behind Sterling Archer and has been part of popular shows like The Simpsons and Family Guy. Similarly Judy Greer gives life to Cheryl Tunt and has featured in House M.D., The Big Bang Theory, Modern Family etc.
