Episode 4202 (28th May 1997)

Chris worries about modelling and is embarrassed by showing himself off. Kevin doesn't like the way Natalie hangs around the garage. When Zoe hangs around the arcade, Judy accuses her of wanting her money for drugs. She is surprised when Zoe reacts violently against the idea. Angie supervises the photo shoot as Chris and Samantha pose in her underwear. Roger, the photographer, snaps away as Chris gets angry at Samantha's jibes over his shyness. Samantha isn't shy about posing in the underwear and Chris admires her body. Angie gets jealous as Chris and Samantha pose together and seem to get on well together. In her anger Judy goes for Zoe and slaps her. She's shocked when Zoe tells her that she's pregnant and wants the money for an abortion. Judy is horrified that her money is to be used to kill a baby and breaks down. Liz entertains Maureen and Deirdre at singles' night at the Warwick Hotel. They are amused to find Fred is a customer. When Chris asks Samantha out for a drink she tells him she can't and points out it's obvious from Angie's reaction that he's spoken for. Deirdre meets an airline pilot, Jon Lindsay, at the Warwick whilst Maureen finds Fred entertaining. Jim is pleased when Bill agrees to give Steve a chance in the business when he comes out of prison. Gary rows with Judy for giving Zoe their money to kill her baby just because she didn't believe in him. Angie finds she can't hold back from Chris any longer and launches herself on him, telling him that she has to have him.

Doctor Who, Ncuti Gatwa débarque comme Docteur sur Disney+

Les deux premiers épisodes de cette saison 1 de la nouvelle série Doctor Who (nouvelle fiche série à ajouter) sous l’égide Disney+ sont désormais disponibles sur la plateforme.

Ces premiers épisodes promettent beaucoup de charme, de voix et de vivacité de la part du 15e Docteur : Ncuti Gatwa, que l’on connait de Sex Education et sa compagne Ruby, interprétée par Millie Gibson. Ce rafraichissement est surtout l’occasion pour toutes les personnes qui n’ont jamais eu le courage de commencer Doctor Who car « ohlala, autant de saisons, par où commencer ?! » de le faire aujourd’hui. Car même si l’univers canonique regorge de références, il sera possible de pousser pour la première fois la porte du Tardis, sans aucun souci de compréhension.

Pour la première fois, le monde entier peut enfin voir Doctor Who en simultané puisque les épisodes sont mis en ligne sur Disney+. Dans l’épisode de Noël, on faisait la vraie connaissance du 15e Docteur sous les traits de Ncuti Gatwa (brièvement apparu dans l’épisode spécial précédent) ainsi que celle de Ruby Sunday (Millie Gibson plus connue pour Coronation Street) et dans ces deux nouveaux épisode, ils vont plonger dans une station orbitale qui farme des bébés ou encore remonter au premier enregistrement d’un album des Beatles.
