Sarah, a young woman from the Orthodox Jewish community of Strasbourg, is found dead. César and his team will discover a world whose codes they do not always master well, guided in their investigation by a few figures of the community, including the chief rabbi of Strasbourg. Their search leads them to the victim's brother, David, a character with shady activities who seem to be hiding things from the police. They will also discover that another man, Ari, had recently returned to Strasbourg to convince Sarah to run away with him. Caesar will have to unravel the true from the false in this episode which will end in a glimmer of hope, and will also have the opportunity to confront some fundamental questions about life and death.
