When Eastwood's investigation into Olson's murder throws open some uncomfortable truths for Burns, Gibson comes under increased pressure in her hunt for Belfast's killer.
Mark your calendars: Brigade anonyme is coming back. M6 has confirmed that Season 2 of the crime drama starring Éric Cantona premieres on Tuesday, November 10, 2026 at 9:10 pm, which is only two weeks away. The new season has four 52-minute episodes split over two evenings, with the first two airing back to back on launch night. About eighteen months after Season 1 drew in French audiences, Julien "Casta" Castaneda and his group of ordinary volunteers are back for a case darker and more personal than anything they've faced so far.
If you missed the first season, or just need a refresher, here's the setup. Castaneda, a former outlaw who now works as a driver and security guard, has one goal in life: to give his teenage daughter Alia (Célia Lebrument) everything he never had. When Alia doesn't come home from a concert one Friday night, he knows right away that she hasn't simply run away. The first hours count the most, and the local police stations don't have enough staff to act quickly. So Casta breaks the rules. With his best friend Nass (Arié Elmaleh), Alia's teacher Charlie (Marilyn Lima) and a handful of other people with no badges, diplomas or privileges, he searches the countryside around Angoulême himself. Season 1 ended with Alia found and the "anonymous brigade" turned into a local legend that desperate families turn to when a loved one disappears. One important detail for this season: the attempted kidnapping of Alia was never fully solved.
That open thread drives Season 2. The series is loosely based on a real story told by Béor in his book "Alerte disparition", about a father who launched his own citizen search for his missing daughter. Season 2 keeps that grounded, emotional core and moves into darker thriller territory. Casta is still haunted by the man who took Alia. In the premiere, his past catches up with him when an investigating judge calls him and his daughter in for questioning. She has found a disturbing similarity between Alia's abduction and the drowning of a young girl three years earlier.
