The funeral of Lady Laena takes place. The Velaryons and the Targaryens are reunited. Everyone tries to put on a brave face by consoling the Velaryon children. During the dinner, Rhaenys reproaches Lord Corlys for thinking only of his own interest.
Rhaenyra and Daemon try to clarify their relationship. They talk about the past and their words heat up their ardors. They are getting closer and closer.
Aemond Targaryen, always fascinated by dragons, takes advantage of the night to meet Vhagar, the dragon who burned his mother. He tries to approach him and it is with success and patience that he manages to ride him.

Jacaerys, Lucerys, Baela and Rhaena welcome Aemond coldly on his return. The pride of the young boy annoys the others and they fight violently. Aemond is hit in the eye. The family recovers the children. An explanation takes place, but King Viserys can't take it anymore. He wants to know where these grudges come from. Rhaenyra reveals that the bastardy of her children is at the center of the stories.
Alicent and Rhaenyra can no longer hide their mutual hatred.
