Une nouvelle adaptation live du conte "La Belle et la Bête". Belle, jeune fille rêveuse et passionnée de littérature, vit avec son père, un vieil inventeur farfelu. S'étant perdu une nuit dans la fôret, ce dernier se réfugie au château de la Bête, qui le jette au cachot. Ne pouvant supporter de voir son père emprisonné, Belle accepte alors de prendre sa place, ignorant que sous le masque du monstre se cache un Prince Charmant tremblant d'amour pour elle, mais victime d'une terrible malédiction.

J'ai bien aimé, c'est un très joli film fantastique, seules les scènes musicales/danse sont trop longues, elles peuvent devenir ennuyeuses mais dans l'ensemble c'est bien.
Le film qui a bercé mon enfance. Des costumes aux décors en passant par la musique tout n'est que pur bonheur pour moi. Une fois encore Emma Watson est époustouflante. Ce film ne fait que redonner espoir au grand et vrai amour Il nous met des étoiles dans les yeux et surtout des rêves plein la tête!
Un si beau film! moi la Belle et la Bête j'adore, cette version m'a beaucoup plu, et les chansons sont magnifiques!

Mon interprétation préférée du dessin animé, les images sont magnifiques visuellement; c'est un 5/5. Emma Watson est extra dans le personnage de Belle !

J’ai vraiment bien aimé! De très bonnes chansons, des erreurs et incohérences du premier film corrigées et de très bons acteurs! J’aime ce qu’ils ont fait de Le Fou: il passe d’un personnage idiot et inintéressant à mon personnage préféré! En revanche, je trouve que certains personnages ont un peu baissé en qualité tout comme certaines scènes mais j’ai aimé l’humour ajouté au film!
Que de commentaires positifs pour un film malgré tout décevant. Les seules scènes particulièrement réussies seront celles avec Gaston et Lefou, dont l’interprétation de Luke Evans et Josh Gad est vraiment bonne. Le personnage de Belle est présentée ici comme une féministe avant l’heure : elle sait lire, invente des choses, arbore des bottes et porte sa robe relevée laissant entrevoir un semblant de pantalon afin de pouvoir se mouvoir plus aisément. Tout ces éléments pour rentrer dans un mouvement moderne et donner une image forte de la femme ont sans doute été proposés par Emma Watson qui nous rend une prestation bonne mais sans plus. Certes elle réalise un rêve d’enfance mais on sent les caprices de stars. Je pense que le film en pâti sincèrement dans le développement de ses personnages principaux. La Bête entièrement réalisée en CGi (au grand désarroi du réalisateur) ne convainc pas, et Dan Stevens ne transcende pas l’écran. Malgré de magnifiques costumes et une belle chorégraphie de figurants, les décors en numériques ne valent pas mieux que de mauvaises pelures au point d’avoir l’impression que l’on a incrusté les comédiens à l’arrache. Le film a subi énormément de doublage post synchro. La post production s’avère en effet décevante pour un film avec un tel budget et surtout complété plus d’un an avant sa sortie. Un Disney correct mais qui n’arrive pas à la hauteur du long métrage animé dont il essaye de tirer son succès.
je m'attendais pas a voir une comédie musicale j’ai l'impression de voir une autre version de l'animé et Emma Watson arrive pas pour moi a incarné Belle j’ai l'impression de voir une Hermione Granger qui se serait trompé de chateau et je m'attends a voir Harry et Ron débarqué de Poudlard a tout moment LOL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On peut dire qu'il suit plutôt bien le dessin animé. J'ai aimé le développement de certains passages (ce que pensent les habitants du château de leur condition, l'intro où l'on découvre un peu le passé du prince, la mère de Belle). Des clins d'oeil sympa à la communauté LGBT. Les acteurs ont été biens choisis et chantent bien. Mais dans l'ensemble j'ai un peu eu cette impression de succession de chansons et le plus gros problème reste l'histoire d'amour. On ne sent pas une vraie histoire naissante entre Belle et la Bête, et c'est là que j'aurais voulu que le film ne se loupe pas. Dans le dessin animé, il y avait une ambiance particulière, on sentait le temps passer et l'histoire d'amour se développer. Mais là, j'ai plutôt eu l'impression d'un insta-love. Ce ne sont pas 2-3 blagues qui font que l'on tombe amoureux.se de quelqu'un en 5 jours (oui, le film se déroule en 5 jours le temps que les villageois viennent à la charge). Et on sait peu sur ce que pense la Bête, qu'est-ce qui le fait changer d'avis alors qu'il semble être resté le même depuis le soir de la malédiction ? Ce sont des subtilités scénaristiques que j'aurais voulu voir. Elles étaient plus présentes dans le dessin animé. Peut-être qu'il aurait fallu s'éloigner de l'histoire à ces moments-là et trouver d'autres scènes pour créer une vraie complicité naissante entre eux. Enfin voilà, le film fait son boulot en restant proche de l'oeuvre, mais il aurait pu être mieux en ayant approfondi le ressenti des personnages principaux.

Porter le film d'animation culte La Belle et la Bête en prise de vues réelles était un pari risqué pour Disney. Force est de constater que la magie Disney de cette "histoire éternelle" nous enchante encore et toujours, ce depuis plus d'un quart de siècle !

Le film n'est pas mauvais en soi, mais en même temps il est difficile de rater l'adaptation d'un si beau conte Disney. Et pourtant je n'ai pas accroché dans l'intégralité. D'une part à cause du casting (fallait bien justifier les 160 Millions de $ de budget à cause de l'actrice^^) et d'autre part pour certaines longueurs qui ne sont pas dûes au scénario mais plutôt à la mise en scène. Je pense que miser sur un public plutôt jeune n'était pas la meilleure formule. Le film se regarde tout de même sans soucis. Bravo en tout cas pour l'édition Blu-Ray qui comporte pas mal de bonus (et justifie enfin l'achat de la galette) !
Aïe, aïe, aïe... Autant Le Livre De La Jungle a été une claque parce que la transposition en live apportait réellement quelque chose au dessin et aux animaux, sans compter la végétation; et le casting de l'acteur était tout simplement parfait. Mais là... Toute la magie s'envole au profit de CGI pas terribles en fin de compte. De voir beaucoup d'acteurs gâche le côté personnages dessinés, avec leurs caricatures, notre imagination qui fait le travail (surtout pour les persos-objets). On ne voit pas Belle! On voit une actrice! Hermione en plus! Et pourquoi des cornes aussi prononcées pour la Bête? Et pourquoi une cloche aussi ouvragée qu'elle couvre une partie de la rose alors que la simplicité était tellement plus efficace pour "du simple dessin"?! C'est juste un peu de choix de direction artistique par-çi par-là mais mis bout à bout ça fait beaucoup! Je fais beaucoup de comparaisons alors que c'est une adaptation, ce n'est pas censé être une copie-conforme (même si ça l'est à plus de 90%... ), c'est chouette mais c'est tout. Et toujours cette horripilante chanson de début "Bonjour, bonjour, bonjour... blablabla *** Modération > Commentaire édité, merci de rester courtois.
